Give to LEJ Today!
A donation to LEJ is an investment in a healthy and just future for southeast San Francisco. You'll be supporting all of our programs — environmental health and justice, food security, conservation and restoration — as well as the Living Classroom, a beacon of health and sustainability in Hunters Point.
There are many ways to donate to LEJ!*
- You can send us a donation online with JustGive

- You can send a check to us at:
Literacy for Environmental Justice
800 Innes Ave. #11
San Francisco CA 94124
- You can host a fundraiser, dinner, marathon, or other event to benefit LEJ.
- You can ask your wedding or birthday party guests to make a donation to LEJ in your honor.
- You can give at your workplace: If your company has a workplace giving or employee matching gifts program, make a gift to LEJ and watch it grow!
- You can shop at Cole Hardware: LEJ is a member of Cole Hardware's School and Community Partnership Program. Cole gives us 10% of all your purchases -- just ask the cashier to post your transaction to Literacy for Environmental Justice!
- You can make a gift of stock: By contributing appreciated securities, you can make a major gift while minimizing your taxes. For more information, contact Deputy Director Pamela Calvert.
- You can consider a planned gift to Literacy for Environmental Justice in a bequest, life insurance policy or charitable gift annuity. These special gifts are an investment in our future and a sound financial management strategy. For more information, contact Deputy Director Pamela Calvert.
- You can make an in-kind contribution. Contact Operations Manager Alan Collins for more information about our current wish list.
*Donations to LEJ are tax-deductible. We do not share our mailing list outside the organization.
