Candlestick Point State Recreation Area Restoration
Ongoing

In partnership with California State Park Foundation

Work with California State Park Foundation and LEJ as we restore the native ecology of Candlestick Point State Recreation Area (CPSRA). This habitat restoration project is a critical activity in providing wildlife habitat for people and critters to enjoy.

Volunteer efforts are focused on restoring the native ecology within Candlestick Point State Recreation Area (CPSRA). Activities include planting native plants, mulching to maintain the restoration area, prepping areas for planting, and removing invasive species. The minimum age for participation is 14. A parent or legal guardian must accompany anyone under 18 years old who attends the event.
